Mark Reisman, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist at NYP/Cornell and is Director of Structural Heart. Dr. Reisman strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. His mission is to provide all patients with the most comprehensive access to device therapies in heart disease, with a focus on valvular heart disease, and devices for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation and other causes. Dr. Reisman earned his M.D. at the Sackler School of Medicine in New York City. He is triple board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He has been principal investigator on more than 100 clinical trials and remains active on a multitude of trials that focus on structural heart disease and coronary artery disease. He is involved in education and serves as a director of several of the largest educational forums in Interventional Cardiology and lectures throughout the world. Dr. Reisman serves as an associate editor of Structural Heart; the journal of the heart team.
